Before, to precisely assemble two models together, we need to carefully calculate their coordinates. In Bambu Studio of version 1.9, we introduced a self-developed assembling tool to quickly and accurately assemble models. This tool can be divided into point-and-point assembly and face-and-face assembly.
Select point and point assembly, press and hold Shift to select two points on the models, and then specify the distance.
Before using this function, we recommend that you merge the two objects into one object. This is because the two objects will be considered as parts after they are merged, and they can be adjusted freely on the z-axis. For differences between parts and objects, please see Split to Objects/Parts.
If not merged, each object must have a face that touches the heatbed, and cannot be adjusted on the z-axis.
Select face and face assembly, and then select a face on each of the objects to assemble them based on the faces.
Similarly, merge the two objects as one, and then select two faces.
Parallel: If the faces selected are not parallel, you can click parallel to make them parallel. Then, you can specify the parallel distance between the faces.
Center coincidence: Join the two faces together to assemble the objects.
Flip by Face 2: Flip object 2 along the face 2.
