When the printer's filter is not sufficient for your use, you can connect your filter or discharge the exhaust gases to the outside through the exhaust pipe connection we provide.
Note:The guide uses X1E as an example. This exhaust pipe connector is used for X1E, X1C and P1S.
Click here to download the model or download from X1E/ X1C/ P1S Exhaust Pipe Connector by Bambu Lab Support - MakerWorld and print the model.
Since X1E has a chamber heating function, the temperature of the gas discharged from the filter is about 60°C when it is turned on, we recommend using high temperature resistant filaments such as PETG and PC, but not low temperature materials such as PLA.
Note: Not recommended to connect another external fan or device outside.
To use this exhaust pipe connector on the X1E(X1C or P1S), you will need to have two M3*14*5 partially treadeds, a suitable length of cable tie or hose clamp.
Remove the left screw as shown
Use the removed screws to thread processing the hole on the right side of the air vent.
Remove the short screw.
Installation of two M3*14*5 partially treadeds.
Align the holes on both sides of the exhaust pipe connector with the partially treadeds inserted and snap them downwards.
It is necessary to rotate the exhaust pipe connector by 180°(Using X1E as a reference), and the installation is as follows respectively (X1C on the left, P1S on the right):
Attach the exhaust pipe to the exhaust pipe connector by means of a cable tie or hose clamp.
