¶ Steps to replace the old Metallic Nozzle Wiper
¶ 1. Remove the two screws holding the metallic wiper
Simply remove the two screws holding the metallic wiper in place, then you will be able to remove the worn piece.
¶ 2. Install the new metallic wiper
The new metallic wiper can be easily installed by aligning it with the two screw holes and then tightening the screws in place.
Important! Do not overtighten the screws
As they thread into plastic and can damage the holder.
¶ Steps to replace the old Silicone Nozzle Wiper
¶ 1. Place the printer on its side
To easily access the screws for the silicone wiper, place the printer on its side with the Z-axis pillar facing the table.
The screws can then be accessed from the bottom side of the heatbed.
¶ 2. Remove the two screws holding the silicone nozzle wiper
Simply remove the two screws holding the silicone wiper in place, then you will be able to remove the worn piece.
¶ 2. Install the new silicone nozzle wiper
The new silicone wiper can be easily installed by aligning it with the two screw holes and then tightening the screws in place.
¶ Calibration step after the operation
We recommend conducting a bed leveling procedure to ensure proper functionality.
Additionally, it's strongly advised to wash the PEI textured plate before use, as it may have been contaminated during this process.
